She started her jumping career with Tracy Newman and was sold to a private owner as a 5 year old.  We bought her in November 2003 and she successfully competed in Newcomers and Foxhunter classes.

She was retired as a brood mare after sustaining a tendon injury.

This beautiful mare has excellent conformation, balanced floating paces and a careful, scopey jump.  She has a wonderful temperament and is very easy to do.  She is an outstanding mother and produces confident, friendly offspring.

In 2008 she produced a superb coloured filly by Ricco - a coloured thoroughbred from Angrove Stud in Yorkshire - who has gone on to Lady's previous owner and will be competing in 2009

Her dam, Dixie Chardonnay, was an exceptional jumping mare and has hopefully passed on her scope and bravery to her daughter

Andora will be competed in sports horse and loose jumping classes over the coming years before embarking on a jumping career under saddle.

Jenny Lauriston-Clark bred her dam Dainty Diva at the Catherston Stud.  Her sire Dutch Gold is by Dutch Courage, the foundation stallion of the Catherston Stud, who has been one of the most influential warmblood sires of successful competition horses in the UK.  His stock have excelled in every sphere and his breeding lines are keenly sought after as his stock have proved to be forward-thinking, intelligent and athletic.

Her sire Catherston Dance in the Dark, by the great Dutch Courage, stands at Glenwood Stud in Northumberland and has successfully competed in eventing, showjumping and showing.  He is full brother to Catherston Dancing Storm, an advanced eventer who qualified for Badminton.  Danse Rouge has certainly inherited his amazing ability, conformation and easy temperament.

As Helayna's excellent breeding would suggest she has good conformation with a scopey ground covering stride.  She has a very sweet nature and should be an excellent cross with Aries
