Elvingston Paper Tiger was one of the first horses bred here at Elvingston.  He is Carnaval Empress’s first foal, by John & Clare Whitaker’s Randi, an internationally renowned showjumper whose winnings have exceeded £300,000 on the circuit. 

Tiger has fantastic conformation, combined with superb paces showing excellent elasticity, athleticism and natural balance.  He has a powerful and scopey jump, and a great attitude towards his work.  Ti has the most fantastic temperament, with a cheeky personality and great sense of humour!

Tiger was sold to Nicola Gordon in 2006.  Nicola has done a fantastic job producing this fabulous young horse and had much success in the show-ring.  Most notably, Tiger was placed 1^st at the Baileys BEF Futurity Awards for three-year-old showjumper, and came 3^rd overall in the UK with excellent comments from the judges for his movement, conformation & jump.
