Tom is a fantastic Shetland stallion who possesses all the
desirable features of the breed to pass on to the next
generation. He is small and compact, and throws quite small
progeny, none have exceeded his height of 36.5inches (0.927M).
Tom has good flat bone with straight legs, energetic and
straight movement with well set hocks and plenty of power. He is
very well put together with a great topline, good hard, round
feet, and a double mane and full tail. He has no sweet itch. His
temperament is second to none and he is a pleasure to do - a
gentleman.
He has very good breeding from the now closed Knowe Stud in
Shetland. He carries very desirable Shetland bloodlines,
including the sought after Marshwood blood. This pony is ideal
if you are looking to breed the next Shetland Champion for the
Showring, or your next family friend for your children to learn
on (or even both). |
